Why we make everything Gluten free & Vegan?
We are a husband and wife team. Shaun has been a chef for 17+ years. We decided to start our business in 2022 when our eldest daughter was diagnosed with a few food intolerances, gluten/wheat & eggs to name a couple. We started out with clean and healthy catering for children's parties, then that grew to catering for adults and corporate events as well as our market stalls in and around Hull. At our stalls we only create Vegan & Gluten Free products. We are a great place to shop for those with specific dietary requirements. We want there to be more places offering food for ALL not just food for some. Which is why we have created our online shop for you to preorder your bakes and treats to enjoy with absolute piece of mind. We often get people up and down the country asking if we will post out to them so we have decided to do things properly. We really hope you can all get behind us and share the word often, far and wide to get us rolling.

I have had food intolerances all my life but luckily after my last pregnancy with Vera they are now only sensitivities. Paisley (5) and Vera (2) have had issues all their life. again just intolerances and now sensitivities. However in the start for both of them it was when they started weaning. My word, this was a super stressful time we had! Paisley was more gluten/eggs/potato/barley and Vera dairy. I personally had a really hard time accepting that Paisley would from now on just be giving a beige and boring box of processed food wherever we went, especially parties.
Being married to a chef we obviously love our food and we love educating our girls with food and colour. Oh how we all love the colour of fresh foods too. This is why we set out to create our business, to cater for children's parties and we have organically grown from there. We are able to offer food for all but we know that our vegan and gluten free bakes and cakes are what people need and want. With dietary requirements on the rise and few to little places able to offer coeliac friendly food, we know that there are people we can help.
